To propose a paradigm based on traditional/conventional wisdom and sustainable lifestyle is seemingly an uphill task in today's fast world, whose socioeconomic metric is driven by greed/cupidity and consumerism/commercialism. Partha foundation is taking on this challenge of proposing a practical alternative based on the principles of "Simple Living and High Thinking." My suggestion to Rakesh and colleagues is to ensure that we light up at least few corners of this globe with the candle of ancient/timeless wisdom, which by design can sustainably accommodate human aspirations.
